WATCH: DA in KZN marches to eSikhawini SAPS over rape of schoolgirl (6)

DA leads march to eSikhawini Police Station demanding action following rape of six-year-old girl at a local primary school

The DA in KZN this (Monday) morning marched to eSikhawini Police Station in connection with the rape of a schoolgirl (6) on school premises.

The rape reportedly occurred in late April at Mizikayifani Primary School and is being investigated by the Empangeni Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit.

After marching, the DA handed over a memorandum of grievances at eSikhawini Police Station.

Among the demands, the party wants immediate action and accountability, deployment of specialised units, school and community safety measures, internal review and public assurance on this matter.
