Tuesday chess club for adults and high school players

ADULTS and high school learners wanting to learn the art of chess can sign up for the Tuesday evening classes set to begin next week.

The club will launch on Tuesday, 17 June and will be held at 6.30pm at Arboretum Primary School.

The club is offering free membership for the first two weeks (17 and 24 June), then from July it will cost R80 a month.

Organised by the King Cetshwayo Chess Association, chairperson Lisa Griffiths says she is excited for players to sharpen their chess skills.
