3 kidnapping, murder suspects nabbed in Ndumo
Three suspects due in court for house robbery, kidnapping, and murder charges
Three accused kidnappers and murderers are expected to appear before the Ingwavuma Magistrate’s Court today (Tuesday) for a formal bail application.
The trio faces charges of house robbery, kidnapping, and murder of Sifiso Shabangu (46) of the Ezulwini area in Ndumo.

Reports suggest the deceased was robbed in Mbodla and taken by the suspects to an unknown location.
Police initiated their investigation after an abduction case was reported.
uMkhanyakude Cluster Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Sibusiso Mkhize said the investigation led to the arrest of a 45-year-old suspect.
He was reportedly found in possession of a stolen vehicle and suspected stolen property in Jozini on 1 June.
“The investigation further revealed the whereabouts of the victim – his body found buried in thick bush,” said Mkhize, adding that two more suspects, both aged 20, were arrested on 6 June.
“They were immediately charged with house robbery, kidnapping and murder.”
uMkhanyakude Cluster commissioner Brigadier Jeros Thango praised the arrests made.
