Calling all schools! Spring into action and win big at upcoming walk
Sanca Zululand and the Zululand Observer call on all schools and their learners to join upcoming spring walk
Shake off the winter chill and lace up those tekkies for the 19th annual Sanca/Zululand Observer Walk Away from Drugs.
Themed Break the Cycle, #SpringIntoAction, the fun walk is on for Saturday, 6 September, starting and finishing at Richards Bay’s Zululand Yacht Club.

Sanca and the Zululand Observer call on schools and learners to join the fun walk for a shot at winning exciting prizes, while taking a stand against drug abuse.
Prizes and trophies will go to the school with the most learners registered (only on-the-day sign ups count), and for the best banners/slogans and best team spirit. So get out your glitter and make colourful posters with strong statements!
Registration starts at 7am, with the walk getting under way at 9am. Entry fee is R5 for children and R20 for adults.
“We believe this event provides a valuable opportunity for learners and staff to engage with our message, participate in a fun and healthy activity, and contributing to a worthy cause,” said Sanca Zululand director Shireen Sahadev.
