“We urge the community to respect government institutions such as police stations. These type of incidents undermine and discredit the work of our police. We commend their action, and we urge them to prioritise their safety,” said Masondo.
The ward councillor pleaded with the community to come forward to identify the deceased, by visiting the eSikhawini SAPS station commander or the government mortuary in Richards Bay.
