7 injured in Richards Bay collision

Traffic flow on R34 towards Meerensee remains obstructed

SEVEN people were rushed to different health facilities across the City of uMhlathuze following an accident involving a taxi and a bakkie near the R34 and Alumina Allee intersection on Monday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 3.30pm with all emergency services responding to the scene.

A taxi veered off the road and hit roadside signage during an accident near the R34 and Alumina Allee intersection in Richards Bay

Patients were treated for minor to moderate injuries and were transferred to various facilities including Nseleni Clinic, Ngwelezana Hospital and Netcare The Bay Hospital for further care.
