WATCH: Region’s politicians monitor anti-illegal immigration marches in northern KZN

DA monitors local areas as marches against illegal immigration continue

As anti-illegal immigration marches continue across the country, the DA in KZN has been on the ground monitoring the situation across the province’s northern regions.

The party’s provincial and regional leadership visited several areas, including Mtunzini, eShowe, Richards Bay and the Empangeni CBD today (Tuesday) to assess the situation.

They monitored activities at taxi ranks and informal traders’ stalls as demonstrations unfolded in areas including eSikhaleni and eNseleni.

No major incidents had been reported in the areas visited.
