Dignity drive for Gingindlovu youngsters

Local NPO Shabach Cares donates clothing and various goodies to the Gingindlovu Outreach Team

Shabach Cares hosted its annual ‘Show you Care with Underwear’ project in Gingindlovu, where much-needed clothing and essential items were donated to the community.

As part of the outreach, 100 sets of underwear, a large donation of clothing from Do I Care Enough (DICE) charity and various goodies were handed to the Gingindlovu Outreach Team, led by Sandra Perumal.

Shabach Cares and the Gingindlovu Outreach team ready to distribute the 100 packs of underwear

The project has been distributing packs of underwear to schoolgoing boys and girls since 2022, and has more than tripled thanks to generous donations.

The non-profit organisation expressed appreciation to the sponsors whose generosity made this possible: Bobby Abraham (New Zealand), Ursula Nelson (Curtain Shop), and Kay Sirkar (SGM Engineering).

Donations for the project are welcome throughout the year. Contact Vee Yankasamy on 081 4037102.
