Police investigation is underway after a break-in at a jewellery store in Empangeni

A group of suspects broke into a jewellery store at Prince Buthelezi Mall in Empangeni on Wednesday night, reportedly breaking a glass wall to gain access.

The police are on scene this (Thursday) morning, working hard to ascertain the quantity of items stolen.

A case of business break-in and theft has been registered at Empangeni Police Station for further investigation.
