Rugby club sets tough goals

The Richards Bay Rugby Club have selected their committee for 2014

THE Richards Bay Rugby Club, at its Annual General Meeting, agreed that the 2013 rugby season was a watershed year and that club members would commit themselves to assure that 2014 will be the year they win the First Division league competition and qualify for the Premier League promotion.

This enthusiasm also applies for the club’s participation in the Zululand League.

The club will play in the Piet Retief Rugby Day, eShowe Bozas Cup and take on Newcastle at home and Vryheid away in pre-season games.

The club will start their training for the 2014 season on Monday 6 January at 6pm.

Charles White (fitness trainer), Graham Beukes (first team assistant coach) and Erich van Rooyen (second team coach) were absent when the photo was taken.
