Mbuti Elliot Mnisi (77), born on February 24, 1944, died on April 24.
Deceased: Mbuti Elliot Mnisi (77), born on February 24, 1944, died on April 24.
Education: He studied at Leslie Bantu School, where he obtained his junior certificate.
Career: He worked as a foreman at PFG Glass in the 1960s. In 1988 he started his own taxi business and then joined Springs Taxi Association. He was elected as the association’s secretary before becoming treasurer.

Community: He made numerous donations to his church and the community and assisted learners in need of school uniforms, stationery and school shoes. He rewarded learners with bursaries.
Family: He is survived by four children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral: The service will be held from 8am until 10am on Saturday at 46 Cloverfield Road in Dersley Park.
