Covid-19 workshop takes place in Duduza
According to Ndlovu, the session was to educate and encourage registration for the vaccine.
Duduza – The Department of Health, in collaboration with Ward 86 Committee members, conducted vaccination training on April 29 at the Duduza Baptist Church under Bishop Isaac Bafana Ndlovu.
“The idea to bring pastors together for the training and informative session was informed by reading the African Reporter.
“A few weeks back I came across an article about the preparation of the arrival of the vaccines at Nokuthela Ngwenya Clinic,” explained Ndlovu.

According to Ndlovu, the session was to educate and encourage registration for the vaccine.
“The workshop was an introduction to Covid-19, vaccination and the different types of vaccines our country will be using.
“I now have a better understanding of what a vaccine is and what each vaccine contains.
“After the workshop, I can confidently say I now have a better understanding of Covid-19 and the vaccines available.
“Therefore, I would like to encourage our community, especially people above the age of 60, and leaders to register for vaccination,” he said.
The workshop was facilitated by Constance Mabena from the Department of Health, who explained that registration is not compulsory.
