Before getting their dose, the elders were screened and registered.
According to the facility manager, Phoko Mokubung, retirees have been attending informative sessions about Covid-19 since Monday.

Joyce Mkhwane, Maria Madumo and Busi Vilakazi were the nurses administering the jabs.

The elderly welcomed the vaccines.
Lawrence Ngwenya (63) told the African Reporter he had no regrets and is relieved to have received his shot.
“It was like getting my flu vaccine. It didn’t take much time and I feel good.
“The entire process went smoothly,” he said.
