Kwa-Thema – Kwa-Thema police recovered a firearm that was stolen during an assault on a security guard on Sunday.
The victim was on duty when one of his colleagues fell ill and needed to be taken home.

Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Const Nkululeko Magudulelo said while leaving the hostel to go back to his station in Brakpan, the victim’s route out of the hostel was blocked by several people, presumed to be residents of the hostel.
