Street light maintenance will not be prioritised during level four lockdown

Only street lights on main roads and those that were reported before the onset of level four will be prioritised.

Kwatsaduza – The City of Ekurhuleni will not be prioritising streets lights due to the limited number of personnel during level four lockdown.
This is due to staff reduction complement in the energy department.
In the statement, it is stated the City will strive to attend to 90% of outage complaints within 48 hours and the rest within a reasonable time.
