Beauty spa gives back to the community

Tsakani – A local beauty spa celebrated its 38th birthday by giving back to the community.
As part of its charity campaign, the spa hosted beneficiaries from Itumeleng Sechaba Home-Based Care Children’s Home on Monday.
The beneficiaries were treated to snacks, facials, manicures and pedicures.
Project manager from the NPO Mathabo Mosimango said the experience lifted the children’s spirits.

“This is an experience the children will never forget.
“Having such people hosting us sends a message that there are people who care about the work that we do.
“It shows our beneficiaries that they are also important and not forgotten within the society.
“We are grateful beyond words,” explained Mosimango.
The NPO works with vulnerable children in Duduza.
She added that people must support local businesses.

“Local businesses drive our economy.
“Therefore, it becomes crucial for us to support such businesses to contribute to their growth so they can create job opportunities for the youth and provide platforms to uplift our entire community.”
Massage therapists Lindiwe and Lindi Masango said the campaign is aimed at showing appreciation to the community of Kwatsaduza for its continued support.
“Without the support of the community, we would not be here today.
“It is important for us to show appreciation and continue to build lasting relationships with organisations that are making a difference in our communities.
“We hope the experience is something the children will cherish forever,” they said.
