Why would this candidate be the best person to represent the ward as its councillor? She is a young, vibrant, political conscious lady who has been working with the community from a very young age through Masidlale, coaching netball and chess.
She is the co-founder of a youth organisation called Abatsha Force of Change, which hosts youth debates, academic and leadership camps and other activities.
She is also a co-founder of Sunshine Tutorial Academy that teaches young learners maths and English.
She has served in Agang SA, founded by Dr Mamphela Ramphela, as a provincial youth leader, provincial deputy secretary and ward chairperson.
The candidate has won a community award as the youngest successful community member nominated by EKFM. She holds the following qualifications: BA degree in politics, philosophy and economics, a degree in business management, diploma in financial management and certificate in African political economy.
She is focusing on her youth organisation and developing the community.
She is also under political and leadership mentorship and through that, hosts TV/online shows that deal with community issues.
We look forward to adding or subtracting as we consult with you as community members to hear your thoughts, views and issues.
Our mission pillars include the following:
• Access to the library until 20:00 and on weekends
• Proper infrastructure, including school halls, laboratories and skill facilities
• Quality and indigenous content, including the fourth industrial revolution content common uniform.
