Kwa-Thema – Thabang Xaba Foundation will be hosting a gala dinner and community awards on Friday (this evening) at 17:00 at the Kwa-Thema Hall.
Different celebrities and politicians will be attending the event and awarding community members.
Foundation founder Xaba said, “The event is to recognise those who are doing good things for the community that are not known about.”
Xaba said in different sectors such as education, arts and culture, health and more, some people are not recognised.
The regional director of social development, Phumla Nkosi, will be leading the award ceremony.
Among the guests will be Gauteng Health and Wellness MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko, MP in the National Assemby Nompendulo Mkhatshwa, Department of Transport spokesperson Lwazilwaphesheya Khoza, entrepreneur and Cool Dads Foundation CEO Bongani Luvalo, musician Neo Mabena and Sphumi Mabena.
The theme is Black Tie.
