Hijacked Toyota Fortuner recovered
EMPD officers recovered a Toyota Fortuner that was hijacked in Daveyton on Thursday.
Tsakani – Members of the EMPD recovered a hijacked Toyota Fortuner SUV, on Friday.
While on parade on Thursday, officers received information from a tracking company about an SUV which was hijacked from the owner, who was visiting family in the Chief Luthuli Section in Daveyton.
During a police patrol rolled out in Ext 16, they spotted an SUV fitting the description of the one that was taken.
The vehicle was abandoned it in the middle of nowhere and the EMPD towed it to the Van Ryn Deep Vehicle Pound in Benoni for safekeeping.
