Deceased: Jane Jean Shisiwe Mnyakeni, born on January 5, 1954 in Rietfontein, died on April 30 after a long illness.
Education: She attended Ntokozweni Primary School and then completed her secondary education at Phulong Senior Secondary.
She furthered her studies in Newcastle at Madadeni College of Education, where she completed her teaching degree.
During her career, she furthered her studies at Vista University where she obtained another diploma in education and continued at UNISA where she obtained another degree in education.
Career: Mnyakeni worked as an educator at Phulong Senior Secondary from 1977 until she retired in 2013.
Community: She will be missed by family, neighbours, friends, former colleagues, former students and the community at large.
Family: She is survived by three brothers and a son, Nkosinathi Makhanya and extended family members.
Funeral: The service will be on Saturday from 09:00 to 11:00 at Swaziland Church in Tsakani Ext One and the cortege will proceed to Enokuthula Memorial Park Cemetery.
