NetSo Gallery burgled
The items stolen included clothing, cameras, studio equipment, artefacts, and other merchandise worth about R60 000.
Duduza – The Duduza police questioned two men about a burglary at the NetSo Gallery at the Duduza Resource Centre on Thursday.
This came after community members tracked down the pair on the weekend and found stolen goods in their possession.
Items stolen during the break-in included clothing, cameras, studio equipment and artefacts, and other merchandise.
The damage was estimated to exceed R60 000.

The NetSo Gallery is owned by Mandla Mbamba, a local clothing designer popularly known for producing several kasi clothing brands.
The gallery is popular with up-and-coming artists and other creatives and hosts art, music and photography exhibitions.
Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka confirmed that they questioned the two.
“They told the police the merchandise was left with them for safekeeping. The police are tracking a suspect, and there should be an arrest soon,” he said.
He added that the police appreciate the community’s support in fighting crime.
