Lebone Primary awards top learners at annual academic ceremony
Outstanding learners were honoured for their hard work and dedication at Lebone Primary School’s academic awards ceremony in Tsakani.
Tsakani – Lebone Primary School held an academic awards ceremony on November 7 to recognise learners for their academic excellence.
Learners received certificates and medals in several categories, including the best performer in every subject per grade, the overall performer per grade, the most improved learner, the most well-behaved learner, and flag bearers.
The school principal, Mashire Madisa, said the school celebrated and recognised exceptional achievements by honouring individuals for their hard work and success.
Madisa encouraged parents to enrol their children at our school for the next academic year. The school offers seSotho, and isiZulu as a home languages.

In the senior phase, Grade Seven Dux learner Sebulela Rethabile received a voucher worth R2 000 for a school uniform, a school bag with stationery, and a scientific calculator.
Motloung Reitumetsi, the first runner-up, received a uniform voucher worth R1 500, a school bag with stationery, and a scientific calculator.
Smake Otsile the second runner-up received a uniform voucher worth R1 000, a school bag with stationery, and a scientific calculator.
When Sebulela Rethabile was asked how she earned the title of Dux learner, she said: “I worked hard, balanced multiple subjects, and formed study groups with my peers.
“This achievement reflects my dedication and ability to manage pressure, and I am grateful for this recognition.”
