Twenty-four offenders arrested over long weekend
Residents were urged to obey the law, report all criminal cases to the police and refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
Kwa-Thema – Over the long weekend, the Kwa-Thema police made the following arrests:
– Four for possession of drugs;
– Fourteen for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm;
– One for possession of a stolen vehicle;
– One for theft;
– Two for common assault and theft;
– One for contravention of a protection order;
– One for drunk and driving.
The police arrested 24 offenders in total.
Kwa-Thema police spokesperson Sergeant Nkululeko Magudulela urged residents to obey the law, report all criminal cases to the police and refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
