World XI beaten by City Royals

City Royals beat World XI during the Tsamaya League game on Sunday.

The game was played at Ntokozweni ground in KwaThema with supporters coming in their numbers to support their teams regardless of bad weather.

The Royals played well from the first minute of the game while World XI was trying hard to defend their half, but their hard work did not pay off.

With only 15 minutes of the first half of the game left, Royals’ Tshepo Shabalala scored the first goal.The first half ended with City Royals leading the game by 1-0.

The rain that heavily poured down during the start of the second half until the end of the game seemed to have brought blessings for City Royals.

The second goal of City Royals was scored by Jabu Zwane just a few minutes before the end of the game resulting in a 2-0 win for the Royals.
