Call out for netball players to trial for the next season
The local netball academy is calling on boys and girls interested in joining for the next season.
Kwa-Thema – The Kwa-Thema Netball Academy will be hosting its 2027 netball trials on October 17 at the Mehlomakhulu grounds next to Zamani Primary School in Kwa-Thema.
The trials are open to boys and girls aged six to 18, and registration will start at 08:30.
The academy’s coach, Lebohang Bangani, said the trials will give young girls and boys the opportunity to join a structured, disciplined netball development program and keep them busy and safe in sport.
“They can expect to meet new friends and be motivated to look forward to the new season with the team,” added Bangani.
The players are advised to bring a water bottle and proper shoes for netball on the day.
