The Perfect Delivery Gauteng Open 2026 is set to showcase the best of South African lawn bowls when the country’s largest tournament gets underway from June 26 to July 26.

Hosted by the Ekurhuleni Bowls District, the tournament will run across 10 bowling clubs in Ekurhuleni, with competitions taking place every weekend throughout July.

The event celebrates excellence, precision and inclusivity by bringing together men, women, juniors, visually impaired and physically disabled bowlers, as well as open competitors from across South Africa.

Tournament headquarters will once again be at Delville Germiston Bowling Club, while Edenvale Bowls Club will serve as the official sub-headquarters for players, officials, volunteers and supporters.

The mixed pairs competition kicks off on July 3, with 74 sections competing across 10 clubs. Participating venues include Alberton Bowls Club, Benoni Bowls Club, Benoni Lake Club, Boksburg Bowls Club, Brackenhurst Bowls Club, Delville Germiston Bowls Club, Edenvale Bowls Club, Morningside Country Club, Northmead Bowls Club and Reading Country Club.

Organisers say the tournament is more than a competition. It is a celebration of friendship, perseverance and community, proving that lawn bowls is a sport for people of all ages and abilities.

Brackenhurst Bowling Club is one of the tournament’s valued advertising supporters and continues to play an important role in growing the sport in Gauteng. Affectionately known as ‘Our Happy Place’, the club has earned a reputation for its friendly atmosphere and strong community spirit.

The club offers free coaching for beginners and experienced bowlers, competitive and social bowling opportunities, corporate functions, team-building events, and venue hire. Its welcoming environment encourages people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the sport while building lasting friendships.
