Ward 38 councillor to announce Ward Champions on Mandela Day
Ward 38 Councillor Malcolm Maifala will announce three names as My Ward 38 Community Champions on July 18.
Following the announcement that Maifala will be honouring residents for the work they do to serve others, it was decided that instead of honouring one champion each month, three people would be honoured.
The announcement will be made via the Ekurhuleni Ward 38 Community Facebook page on 18 July.
Details of how to nominate your My Ward 38 Community Champion will be shared with the residents.
“Every month I will be honouring an individual or organisation which uplifts the community in one way or another. This will be individuals nominated and recognised by the community at large,” Maifala said.
