Help Epic Foundation
The Epic Foundation is calling on residents to volunteer their time.
The foundation has proposed various ways you can help those in need without having to directly come in contact with other people.
They are asking people to please help them in creating and preparing care packages, either a comfort pack for a woman or a comfort pack for a child.
In the pack for women you can place deodorant, shampoo, sanitary towels, bottled water, hair clips and elastics, a small pack of tissues, Vaseline, lip balm, a small notebook and pen and a note of encouragement. In the pack for children you can include similar products as well as a coloring book and crayons, sweets and chips.
Packs can be delivered to the Epic Foundation.
The Epic Foundation is also creating care packages for survivors of rape and abuse and is asking for donations towards this. The average cost of a care package is R150 and any amount you are willing to give will be highly appreciated.
