A drug dealer was arrested in Penzance Street just six days after another drug dealer was caught on Clinton Road.
Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director of CPS Security, said they received several complaints regarding drug dealings.
“One of our tactical units noticed a drug deal while on patrol on May 6 in Clinton Road. The suspect tried to flee on foot and was later arrested in the parking lot of Alberton Mall. The dealer had narcotics in his possession.
“On May 12, after a stop and search operation, another drug dealer was arrested in Penzance Street. We found narcotics and money in his possession,” said van der Merwe.
Both suspects were taken to Alberton SAPS.
