Tiny Bubbles Nursery School celebrates its 26th birthday
Tiny Bubbles Nursery School celebrated their 26th year in business on July 1.
Tiny Bubbles Nursery School is situated in Florentia, Alberton.
On July 1, 1996, they opened their doors to six children. They have grown over the years and currently has 16 staff members.
Some staff have 26 years of service at Tiny Bubbles and seven have been with them for a decade or longer.
The principal of Tiny Bubbles, Carene Koekemoer, is also the founder and owner of the school, which she and her husband, Boet, started 26 years ago in their home.

“On January 1, 1996, I started as a day mother with one child and later that year another six children were in my care. We then decided that we would apply to open a nursery school. Our grand opening was on July 1 in that same year,” Carene said.
“Throughout these years we have been blessed with the best staff, children and parents. I have always been so thankful for the privilege to be able to make a contribution in the education of babies and toddlers during the first six years of their lives,” she said.

The Tiny Bubbles motto is ‘love and personal attention is our priority’, that is also true to who Carene is, as her life motto is that life revolves around love.
Tiny Bubbles aims to provide a loving and caring environment for the community’s children. Carene said, “We are thankful for every child and parent who we have built a relationship with during these years. Something close to my heart is that some of the children from the first years are now parents whose children are also with us now.”

Tiny Bubbles hopes to continue to play an integral part in the community’s children and that they may be able to touch the children’s hearts.
The school is grounded in Christianity and have strong values.
