Hearing for Forest Hill murder case is set for next year

About nine witnesses will be called in this case.

Murder accused Kleave van Staden briefly appeared on the stand on September 16.

The trial date was set for January 20 next year.

During the court proceedings, it was established that there are about nine witnesses to be called. These include the chain statement witnesses and two minors.

Both the State and defence said they are ready for the trial.

Van Staden is accused of murdering his wife, Jamillah, on January 8 in Forest Hill.
