SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution in combating crime.

Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested two suspects in the Johannesburg area and recovered three vehicles from February 10 to 13.

One suspect was arrested for possession of the suspected stolen property and the other for having a suspected stolen vehicle.

Vehicles recovered were a white Nissan NP200 that was reported to be stolen, a white Ford Ranger and a white Ford Figo hijacked from the owners. The vehicles were handed to authorities at Aeroton SAP 13.

The two suspects appeared at the magistrate’s court facing charges of possession of the suspected stolen property and possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.

Johannesburg Flying Squad communication officer Raymond Sambo said the investigation continues in all cases.

“Working with the community led to these recoveries. The SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution. It should also be noted that for any information regarding the vehicles, contact the detective, quoting the relevant case number,” he said.
