Theart Mey Attorneys spread love at Alberton Child Welfare

As part of their community outreach programme and Mandela Day drive, Theart Mey Attorneys recently presented donations to Alberton Child Welfare.

Alberton’s Theart Mey Attorneys donated shoes and a pile of preloved warm clothing to Alberton Child Welfare.

As part of their Mandela Day drive, they also committed to pampering the social workers at child welfare with goodies and treats.

Thenji Masingile and Amelia Olley of Theart Mey Attorneys presented the donations.

“When we arrived, we got to understand what they do. They solve a lot, and we want to thank them for their contribution, from removals to placing children in suitable homes. We also suggested doing this from today moving forward and getting the community involved by leading drives for them instead of doing this as a once-off,” explained Masingile.

Olley told the Alberton Record they were involved in the community through their outreach programmes.

“We decided to donate the preloved clothes to them, and they will then donate the clothing to their beneficiaries and those in need. We do try and do this throughout the year, usually at the beginning, the middle of the year and towards the end. We do this for various organisations,” Olley said.

Anubha Mackerdhuj, the director of Alberton Child Welfare, thanked the Alberton law firm for their donation.
