Rand Water maintenance schedule for Alberton and surrounding areas
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead of the water interruption.
Large areas in Ekurhuleni will be affected by the extensive maintenance programme undertaken by Rand Water between June 22 and July 29.
Residents will experience low water pressure to no water. The metro will provide roving water tankers for the duration of the maintenance period.
Here are the details of the shutdown dates:
July 1: 8 hours – 08:00 to 16:00
Alberton, Katlehong, Vosloorus, Palm Ridge and extensions, Magagula Heights, Zonkeziswe and Katlehong 2 CCA.
July 5: 14 hours – 07:00 to 21:00
Vosloorus and all extensions, Dawn Park and Windmill Park, Villa Liza, Mapleton AH
July 15 – July 17: 50 hours – 03:00 to 05:00
Alberton, Katlehong, Vosloorus, Palm Ridge and extensions, Magagula Heights, Zonkeziswe and Katlehong 2 CCA.
July 29 – July 30: 40 hours – 05:00 to 21:00
Alberton, Katlehong, Vosloorus, Palm Ridge and extensions, Magagula Heights, Zonkeziswe and Katlehong 2 CCA.
