Creative Academy Preparatory celebrates new Grade Ones
Starting Grade One is the beginning of an exciting journey filled with discovery, friendship, and endless possibilities as young learners take their first steps into a world of letters, numbers, and adventure.

Starting Grade One is a milestone filled with excitement, anticipation and new beginnings. For most, it’s the first step into formal education, where they’ll embark on an adventure of discovery, growth and friendships.
As they walk through the school gates for the first time, their eyes sparkle with curiosity, ready to explore the world of letters, numbers and everything in between.
In Grade One, children will encounter a new routine, from meeting new classmates to adjusting to the rhythm of formal school life.
They’ll begin to understand the magic of reading and writing, learning how letters come together to form words and how numbers help solve everyday problems. Each day is a chance to grow, whether through mastering new skills or finding joy in the wonders of the classroom.
But Grade One isn’t about academics only.
It’s about learning how to collaborate, share and communicate with others. Friendships will blossom when children engage in play, group activities and creative projects. They’ll discover the power of teamwork, learn to express themselves and develop social skills that will last a lifetime.
“The year ahead promises many exciting adventures, from fun-filled lessons to educational outings, art projects, and celebrations of achievements big and small.
“With supportive teachers guiding them along the way, each child will have the chance to discover their strengths, overcome challenges and build the confidence they need for the next steps in their educational journey,” said the principal of Creative Academy Preparatory, Tyla-Jade Botha.
“As they look forward to their first year of primary school, our Grade Ones will soon realise the road ahead is one of endless possibilities. It’s the beginning of an exciting chapter. One full of laughter, learning, and a world of opportunities waiting to be explored.”
