Two suspects were recently arrested by the Tactical Units of CPS Security and Fox Security in Brackendowns.
“One of our vehicles spotted a car fleeing from a house break-in that had occurred in Yellowood Street in Mayberry Park. Four suspects were in the vehicle that sped through the Brackenhurst and Brackendowns,” said Tyrone van der Merwe, sales director of CPS Security.
“The driver of the vehicle lost control, caused an accident, and the suspects fled on foot in Gardenia Street,” said Van der Merwe.
Francois Jansen, operations director of Fox Security, said that his tactical unit also searched the area and managed to apprehend another suspect.
“The suspect was found hiding inside a dog kennel a few houses away,” said Jansen.
The suspect, the vehicle and all stolen goods were handed over to Brackendowns SAPS.
“Awesome job to our tactical member for remaining calm and getting the necessary backup to effect the arrested,” Van der Merwe added.
