Stolen car recovered in Mayberry Park
CPS Security, Brackendowns SAPS and Brackendowns CPF work together to arrest suspect.
A Toyota Corolla was recently stolen in the Randhart area, and a lookout was given to CPS Security’s tactical team to assist.
“Our vehicles were at specific entries and exits in the surrounding areas,” said Tyrone van der Merwe, the sales director.
The getaway vehicle and the stolen car were spotted, and a high-speed chase ensued between the suspects and the security officers.
One suspect was arrested, and the stolen vehicle was found on JG Strijdom Street in Mayberry Park.
“A jamming device was discovered in the vehicle that jams the tracking device.
“Thank you to the Brackendowns SAPS and Brackendowns CPF for assisting,” Van der Merwe concluded.
