EMPD nabs Eden Park male suspect found with drugs
EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit officers continue sweeping the streets of the City of Ekurhuleni, with recent successful arrests.
Officers from the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) on May 4 arrested three suspects for possessing multiple illegal substances and possible drug dealing in the Boksburg and Eden Park areas.
With an ongoing operation of removing drugs from the streets of Ekurhuleni, the officers also nabbed a 35-year-old male suspect at Renault Street in Eden Park.
He had 12 zip lock bags of Cat, with an estimated value of R1 200, and R60 on him.
“The offender was taken to the Eden Park Police Station and faces charges of possession of illegal substances and possible dealing in these substances. He will appear at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court,” explained EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa.
