Here are some recent successes:

• Suspect arrested in New Redruth for possession of narcotics: During routine patrols on Clinton Road, CPS Security officers, in collaboration with EMPD, apprehended two suspicious men. They found one suspect with Mandrax and drug paraphernalia. Despite his attempts to flee, they arrested the suspect, who faces charges of possession of narcotics, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

• Burglar apprehended in Florentia: A quick response to multiple panic signals led CPS Security’s reaction units to a property on Fick Street. They found a suspect hiding on the roof. He was arrested and handed to the Alberton SAPS.

• Wanted suspect arrested in Alberton North: An early morning operation in an informal settlement saw the arrest of a wanted suspect. The suspect, currently on parole, was wanted for parole violations and a theft case. In collaboration with the EMPD and the Alberton SAPS, CPS Security ensured the suspect’s apprehension.

• Suspect arrested for possession of Mandrax in Raceview: CPS Security’s tactical team, alongside the EMPD Community Liaison Unit (CLU), intercepted a suspicious vehicle on Swartkoppies Road. Despite attempts to evade capture, they stopped the suspect, and a search revealed Mandrax and drug paraphernalia. The suspect faces charges of possession of narcotics and reckless driving.
