Alberton SAPS arrests 14 suspects within 3 days

Alberton SAPS is continuing with the stop and search after arresting more than 10 suspects in Alberton.

Fourteen suspects are expected to appear in court after being arrested for drinking and driving, assault GBH, shoplifting, possession of drugs, and three were illegal immigrants.

These arrests were carried out on Sunday to Tuesday in Alberton.

According to Alberton SAPS spokesperson Captain Manare Ramotshela, stop and search operations and police visibility are what made these arrests a success.
