Kliprivier SAPS arrest 14 illegal immigrants during Operation Shanela

Operation Shanela continues to keep streets and communities safe.

Kliprivier SAPS successfully apprehended 14 illegal immigrants during Operation Shanela.\

The operation, which began on September 4 at Meyerton Police Station, was later extended to Kliprivier.

The suspects were attested for being in South Africa without the required legal documents.

Station commander Lieutenant LJ Mofokeng said the arrests reflect the police’s ongoing commitment to ensuring South Africa is a safe and lawful place to live.

“We are dedicated to upholding the rules of the country while protecting our communities,” he said.

Kliprivier SAPS encouraged residents to report any suspicious activity and continue supporting law enforcements efforts in their areas.
