Laerskool Randhart Voortrekkers mark 95 years with pancakes and giving back

The Voortrekkers celebrated their 95th anniversary by baking 95 pancakes and donating 95 stationery items to support less privileged learners at Laerskool Randhart.

The Voortrekkers at Laerskool Randhart celebrated 95 years of history with a sweet treat and a meaningful act of kindness, showing how a proud anniversary can make a difference in the local community.

On September 30, the Voortrekkers reached the remarkable milestone of 95 years. To commemorate the occasion, Kompas Kommando decided to celebrate specially during its meeting on October 16.

Members enthusiastically baked 95 pancakes in honour of the organisation’s 95th anniversary.

However, the festivities were about more than just pancakes. The Voortrekkers also collected 95 stationery items and donated them to Laerskool Randhart to support less privileged learners.

The initiative reflected the spirit of service and community involvement that the organisation hopes to continue nurturing among young people.

Congratulating the Voortrekkers on their milestone, the school wished the organisation well for the years ahead. “May you continue to shape young leaders who serve with pride and make a positive difference in their communities through their actions,” the school said.

Through pancakes and a practical contribution to fellow learners, Kompas Kommando found a thoughtful way to celebrate 95 years while putting the values of service and giving back into action.
