Law enforcement crack down on drug-related crime in Alberton

Community urged to report suspicious activity to aid safety efforts.

CPS Security, in collaboration with the EMPD and Alberton SAPS, has intensified efforts to combat drug-related crime in Alberton North.

Following complaints of increased drug activity, authorities conducted targeted stop-and-search operations, resulting in arrests and the recovery of illegal narcotics around the Alberton area, including Alberton North, New Redruth, Verwoerd Park and Albertsdal.

Arrests were made, and suspects were dealt with accordingly.

These joint operations demonstrate the commitment to improving safety within the community.

CPS Security and Alberton SAPS emphasise the importance of community involvement, encouraging residents to provide confidential or anonymous tip-offs regarding drug activity, unlicensed firearms, or serious criminal behaviour.
