Help revamp Alberton Dam and donate to PICUP Alberton

PICUP Alberton urges everyone to lend a helping hand to the organisation as they are planning to replace the wooden jungle gyms at the Alberton Dam play area.

PICUP Alberton has been gearing up for the revamp of the Alberton Dam Playground, aiming to restore some parts of the play gyms and add more play equipment. However, the project has not yet started as the organisation is still in need of sponsors.

The organisation is requesting the community to recommend reputable jungle gym installers around Alberton.
According to Joeleen Smith, director and co-founder of PICUP Alberton, the organisation wishes to send two of their workers to training where they will learn more about the installation of the jungle gym.

“They will go for training to ideally assist in future projects. The upcoming project will also be a learning curve for our team who will be closely observing the team of professionals,” said Smit.

PICUP Alberton is encouraging Alberton residents and business owners to donate to the project as it will bring change to the Alberton community.

People can donate through contributions or support with resources. For more information, contact Joeleen Smit at 073 421 3179.
