Private security leads joint operation to clean up Alberton

Alberton sees arrests and confiscations in major crime prevention crackdown.

Fox Security, in collaboration with Alberton CPF, Brackendowns CPF, Alberton SAPS, EMPD, and EMPD CLU Units, successfully executed Operation Clean Up in Alberton on March 20 and 30.

The joint operation targeted high-risk areas, including the Alberton CBD, Alberante Bridge, and sections of the Funny Farm informal settlement.

The operation yielded significant results, with two arrests for possession of illegal substances and the confiscation of dangerous weapons.

Suspects were handed over to SAPS for further processing. Fox Security’s armed response and tactical teams played a key role in the operation.

“This focused operation aimed to reduce crime and boost community safety,” said Alberton SAPS station commander Colonel Olivein Letloenyane.

“A big thank you to all role players for their cooperation, professionalism, and dedication. The fight against crime continues, with more joint operations planned,” he continued.
