Two caught stealing scrap metal in Kensington

According to information received the men derailed the main gate to the property and found the front door unlocked.

Two men were arrested in Kensington on July 11 after they broke into a property to steal scrap metal.

According to information received the men derailed the main gate to the property and found the front door unlocked.

When the men opened the front door to the house the home alarm system alerted Fidelity ADT.

Fidelity ADT Reaction Officer Mamabolo responded to the alarm and arrived to find a staff member standing outside the property.

Together they entered the property and apprehended the suspects who were trying to steal scrap metal.

The suspects were handed over to Cleveland SAPS.
