The trio were sentenced on November 3 in the Benoni Regional Court.
Maseko was arrested on March 14 in Mazibuko Street, Daveyton.
Mahlangu and Kunene were arrested on June 13 in Ratale Street, Daveyton.
A case of house robbery was opened on March 11.
Daveyton SAPS spokesperson Capt Mesh Makole said it is alleged that the complainant was home when three men entered his house and covered his face with a pillow.
“They threatened him and instructed him to remain silent while they searched the house,” said Makole.
They fled with a home theatre system, television, DVD player, two cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money.
