Passion for fashion charity drive
Benoni-based fashion design company Passion4Fashion has embarked on a charity drive .
They are actively assisting schools in the Benoni and Kempton Park areas to raise funds through fashion shows in which students participate.
Owner Marisela Veludo is not only passionate about fashion designing, but she can also relate to the matric girls as women who want to feel beautiful and special at their matric dance.
She has donated a matric dress to a student at Hoërskool Jeugland and is busy designing another two dresses for students who are less fortunate, for another high school in the Benoni area.
Public relations officer Brad Johnson said Passion4Fashion is involved with a fashion show for another NPO, as well as auctioning off a dress for the event, in October (date to be finalised).
The proceeds of the auction will go towards combating breast cancer.
Passion4Fashion and Veludo Modelling School also helped to raise funds for a music icon, in Benoni, by staging a freeze modelling performance.
Anyone who would like to support this venture can contact Johnson on 072 993 1832 or 084 675 5045.
