Make a date with SPCA fun run
Motorcycle clubs, enthusiasts and families are invited to join the second annual SPCA Animal Run, on September 1, at the Cardinals Baseball Club, next to the Boksburg City Stadium.
This will be the the end venue for the mass motorcycle ride, the starting point of which will be Checkers-Hyper, in Edenvale, at 9am.
Plenty of fun activities will be offered to the public at the Cardinals Baseball Club, including a flea market, a mechanical bull and a beer tent, to name but a few.
The event is in aid of all SPCA branches on the East Rand, including the Benoni SPCA.
The aim is to collect pet food, blankets and funds.
The Benoni SPCA will also be present at the event and will be out and about at the coffee stalls.
Organiser Chris Badenhorst requested that no animals be brought to the venue, as the day is in aid of the animals, and not for them.
