Good Samaritans return wallet
The chances of you losing your wallet and having it returned with everything in it are usually pretty slim.
Claude Roestoff was lucky to have his lost wallet returned by Benoni residents Claude Roestoff, on November 17.
“We were driving along Star Street, in Atlasville, on our way to Springs, when we drove past the wallet,” said Danie.
“We reversed, picked it up, looked through it and called Claude, to tell him we had found his wallet,” said Geraldine.
Claude added that the couple first verified that he was the owner by asking him for his ID number.
“We gave back the wallet because it was the right thing to do, and we wanted to spare him the trouble of having to get new cards,” said Danie.
“I thank them for being good Samaritans; they saved me a lot of money and time,” concluded Claude.
